Are you scared ? a song

We wanted to send you this song for the Halloween time. But we couldn´t. So here it is now. At the end of January. In February, there are some events in villages. People dress up in costumes and they eat and drink a lot. It is called in Czech masopust= carnival, shroving. After this feast the time of lent comes and it finishes at Easter.

Sekunda A The Czech Republic

These are the Czech students from the project. They are 12-13 years old and they are in the branch of our school which lasts for 8 years. They study at our school from the age of 11 to 19. Before they can attend our school, they have to pass a special entry exam to prove that they will be able to study. Aleska is leaving us because they are moving to Prague next week. We wish her good luck in her new school.

We celebrate The Students´day every year. It is on 17th November- the beginning of our new democracy and new country. Students prepare their own programme and we spend a beautiful afternoon together. This video is from 2007. Last autumn we didn´t do much because I wasn´t at school.

Beginning of the project

We started this project in autumn 2008 and our partner school is from Ireland, later we invited a new partner from Spain and so there are about 60 students involved in this project. It is a big number but we are able to manage it. I hope our project will be nice and interesting for the children.
